Quick Aweber Auto-Responder Question

I've got a new list with just 3 emails set up in the auto-responder.

If I write a new one to add to the auto-responder, and I want it to be delivered say 4 days after the previous message. When I am done writing it and save it, will it automatically deliver to people who are already on the list, and have had 4+ days since their last email?

I don't think it does, but I'm not 100% sure.

Assuming I'm right, and it doesn't send, does it make sense then to broadcast it out to a segment of my list that won't receive it in the normal course of things, or how do I make sure everyone on my list gets all my emails one time?

Michael

I am almost certain that it does send out the email straight away to people who have not received anything from you for over 4 days but it might be worth contacting aweber support to confirm this.

I'm curious about this too. From what I understand, it won't send to those who've passed the 4 day mark by more than 1 day, but that probably needs an aweber support tech to confirm.

  • In your case it will send out the email 4 days after the last one. That means that if your subscriber has received their last email more than 4 days ago, they will get your new email right away.

I agree with you. That has been my experience and I have been using Aweber for a few years.
