Default Changing WSO Title Subject Line

Is there a way to change the title subject line on a WSO post?

I changed the discount in my WSO offer from 50% to 60%. I was able to edit the body of the WSO, but couldn't figure out how to change the title subject line.

I was hoping to "bump" the offer back to the first page with the correct discount in the forum title.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Pete,

It's a little tricky to do it just right, but all you have to do is...

Double-click on the subject line on the main WSO page. In other words, the same link people would click on to view your offer.

Once you double click, just make the changes and then enter. The tricky part is getting the timing right so you are able to edit it (instead of going to the sales page).

Hope that helps.

All the best,
Michael

p.s. You can either change then bump, or bump then change. However, you don't want to change the title while a bump is pending.

Maybe I'm missing something but to change the title, click on the "Edit" button then on the "Go Advanced" button. You're able to change the title of your post at that point.

Hi Anthony,

Yes, that works, too.

I find the other method works better for making changes "on the fly", but both ways work.

Yeah, that's what I was going to say. It's easy to change the title of a WSO and I've done it myself a couple of times.

Actually, you can double-click in the blank space right next to the title (anywhere inside that box), and then you can edit it without the page trying to change on you.

Thanks Anthony, Michael, and Aaron. I couldn't quite get the timing on double-clicking the title, so I tried Anthony's method of "Go Advanced". I guess I wasn't "advanced" enough to find it myself :-)

Thanks again.

This must be the "techie" version.
