Another Dumb newbie question./ About Google Searched

What does the Google result mean? Is this the number of searches per day? What does 1-10 mean and 110,000.

Or would 110,000 mean the number of sites competeing with that content? or would 110 be the number of seaches per day for the key words I typed in.

Example is below

Results 1 - 10 of about 110,000 for "Learn Spanish Online". (0.25 seconds)

Thanks
Marcus

It means there were 110,000 results for the search you made. The higher the number the more competitive the term.

If you typed it within quotes like in your example, then it means that there are 110,000 webpages in Google's database that contain that exact phrase.

1-10 is the number of results out of 110,000 that your are seeing on the page your currently on now. If you scroll down to the bottom of your results you will see next set of results (Google 1,2,3,4,5....) once you click on them, you will get the next page of results... 11-20.... 21-30... and so on.

I'm sure you already figured that out by now.
