Hi Chris:

Hope all is well. Craig's List and Back Pages have a policy that frustrate even ethical people. If you sell food in New York City for example they can make the point you should only be able to advertise in New York City.

If you sell a product that can be downloaded anywhere in the world it doesn't matter the city, it is a universal appeal.

The people that for better or worse have multiple accounts use software that changes the i.s.p. address for each posting.

While I myself couldn't do this, you are seeing folks that set up verified proof of phone number and then will promote their product in numerous cities across Craig's List.

While I wouldn't get involved to be fair even the example of the place that sells food should not be totally restricted to one post every 30 days. What if you live in New Jersey or Connecticut, you may visit the area for business/pleasure.

The best for all would have been when Craig's List and Back Pages started to get popular if they examined ads to make sure the product was legal/ethical and didn't have complaints. If it was on the safe list, let the person promote as they wish.

Enjoy Saturday!
