experienced advice on marketing to list

I have a list of about 200 who opted in on my squeeze page promoting a CB product for starting a foreclosure cleanup business. It was a single opt-in and I have not had a welcome email set up, so as of now the list has had no contact from me. The list is only 2 days old as of this post.

My question is what do you experienced marketers feel should be my 1st contact with this list? Should I re-push the same product they seen when they opted in or is it okay to send them a completely new bizop offer?

The original offer doesn't convert well, as I had only 2 sales out of 500 clicks and its gravity on clickbank is very low, under 5 yes 5 not even 50...lol. I am very new to this and didn't even know what the gravity thing meant 2 days ago...lol I would prefer to send out a new higher converting offer, but not sure I guess on how to go about the transition to something unrelated to foreclosure cleanups.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Ken

    Hi Ken,

You need to start sending something out to them sooner rather than later.

A list will go COLD if you don't email them often enough.

It would be far better for you to set up a series of emails 5 - 10 that go
out automatically as soon as someone opts into your list.

You need to keep testing other products that convert better than the one you
    are currently using.

You are always going to be at a loss at the beginning because you are just
testing to find a winning formula.

If you are stuck for writing emails that provide and build relationships but
also recommend products at the same time you can do a search for
these kinds of services and I am sure you will be able to find something
    that fits into your criteria.

I would recommend you at least create a free gift of your own and build
your list with that as this allows you to instantly build a relationship
and trust with your new subscribers.

Hope these pointers help you out.

    Good luck.

Look, Gavin's tips were already awesome, so, take what he's telling ya!

Another small tip I'd give is: grab the BEST tip or information there is on this product you're recommending and give it for free for them. Then, tell, if you want more great info like this, buy this product, or something like that.

This way they will get in the mindset of "want/need more". And you're already giving GREAT info for free, imagine if I buy it.

    Cheers!
