Ebay Account Indefinitely Banned..

Has anyone experienced this and managed to be able to sell again
afterwards ?

I have sold on Ebay for years, since the late 90s on and off but got hit by scammer buyers 3 times throughout the years and the last time Ebay told me I am indefinitely banned and I did nothing wrong!

The first time a buyer stated I sold them a non working watch when indeed it did work and they wouldn't agree to ship it, they wanted a full refund and I tried fighting it but lost.

Second time sold a guy a Tony Robbins cd collection I had and when he got it he said the case on a few cds were broken and scratched and wanted his money back, I gave this guy his money back and he never sent them back. I tried fighting it with paypal and ebay and I lost that battle too. (btw I know they weren't broken or I would of wrote it on the description)

Third problem sold someone a high performance mustang gt engine part and they said they never received it. I sent it with a return receipt and the guy signed it, I sent proof to ebay and they don't seem to care, they said I needed to send him his money back and I refused because I said the return receipt means he signed on delivery.

I got banned for life lol. FML I love selling on ebay

Any way around this ?

    That's crazy..

Here's a thread from about a year ago, someone having the same problem..

I think you may possibly find a way to resolve the matter from some of the answers.

Might have to be a little creative, but still on the up and up.

Oh man, sorry to hear that! These days, scammers are just finding ways to ruin the lives of these Ebay sellers. Is there anyway you can create a different account and use another Paypal account and credit card under a different name?

Dan not sure bro but I gotta look into it. I just love buying and selling through ebay as a little side business but also a fun hobby for me.

It's not even just scammers. It's people who simply aren't paying attention to detail in their lives. My dad just had a complaint filed against his eBay store. The buyer said he never shipped the item (from NJ to CA). My dad did ship the item and the post office sent it back to him because the lady confused the "delivery notice" with one she got for another package and never went to pick it up!

But she never asked him about it first. She just filed a complaint.

Unfortunately is seems that to succeed on eBay you need to sell enough volume so that when you run up against a scammer, you have to eat the loss. If they will not return what you sent you have to refund anyhow.

eBay and PayPal both have the mindset that the customer is always right, and the only customer they have are the ones with the plastic.

Their whole business model is based on never giving the customer any reason to think that they stand a chance of not getting their $$ back if they question a transaction.

...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.

How close is the guy? You could always pay him a little visit. Not threatening or anything, but just ask him whats up. Might come to his sences and let ebay know he recieved it.
