G'day, My latest article published on EZA has had, in my opinion, fairly good CTR From 88 views it has had 30 click throughs for a 34% CTR. With this in mind I got the CTR for all my articles and the figures are below. I would appreciate any and all comments on these figures to let me know if they are at an acceptable level. I have 58 active articles with 24,400 views. An average of 420 views per article. Of the 24,400 views I have had 866 clicks on my URL for a 3.5% CTR Are these numbers OK? |

Your CTR could be a great deal better. Take a look around the forum on how to improve your CTR. You have to give the reader a good reason to click your URL. You have to persuade them. Here a my article stats: Article(s) Views: 62,519 Profile Views: 1,865 Articles Published: 441 URL Clicks: 11,811 |

Hey Craig, 3.5% CTR is a great stat. Most network marketers get no more then 1-1.5%. You are on the right track. But remember-there is always room for imporvement. Igor |

I think that Chris Knight of EZA says average CTR is 3-12% (check out the EZA blog). Marketers should be able to achieve much higher than this though. I think 20-30% should be an average. Some of my articles only have a CTR of about 10%, others 50%+ so the average across my whole account is 31% at the moment.

write your resource box like an extension of the article with a gentle sales pitch and finish up with your link. Skip the old "learn more by visiting www.whatever.com" type of box. Do this and you should have at least a 15% Ctr. Hope that makes sense!! |

Just listened to a couple of pros interviewed about this. Here are the highlights: Present a problem, then a partial solution, in your article. Then say something like: For complete detailed instructions on (keyword anchor text)...visit xyz site... (they of course said it much more eloquently, but the idea of leaving a partial solution and then offering the 'rest of the story' at your landing page made a lot of sense.) hope this helps. |
