Careless of me, deleted wp important posts!

Greetings!

I am a bit frustrated right now.

I have accidentally deleted some important posts and I want to recover them.

I talked to dreamhost but they said, they have no backups.

Any options I can take? So worried right now. How can I restore them completely.

    Unfortunately there is not much you can do if they were actually deleted.

    In the future, you should use the cpanel backup feature and download a copy every so often. This will make a full backup of your files, database/posts, and so on.

    When you say you've "deleted" them, do you mean you clicked on "move to trash"?

    If that's what you did, click on an existing post to edit it and you should see something like "All, published, drafts, trash" just above the post in the editing area.

    Click on trash and you can get your trashed posts back.

      In some wordpress SQL tables the backend just changes the status. So PHPMyadmin into your database and look.

      Surely you have some backups?

      Restore one to a sub domain and then export the posts you want to recover.

        Also search for the posts on Google and open the cached version, then copy & paste

    How old were the posts?

    Could try fetching a cached version, or if your lucky maybe wayback machine has a screenshot.

    Either way like mentioned before they should be in your "trash" unless you emptied that as well
