I have written some ebooks I want affiliates to sell for me.
Do I need a website?
Will a sales, thank you page be enough?
I have hosting and domain name.
Thank you

Go to Clickbank and sign up, if you haven't already. Look at other products in your niches and see what their vendors do.

Read the Clickbank Terms and Conditions to see what they require you to have. I can't remember, as I haven't used them for a while, but it is possible they will require you to have a contact page, a privacy page etc. Don't know for certain, but they will tell you what you need.

You'll need to have proven conversions, to be able to attract affiliates. And you'll need to have your product listed somewhere with a longstanding reputation for reliability in affiliate payment to attract good affiliates who can actually bring in (m)any sales for you.

In any case, there's no point in attracting affiliates without knowing that you're going to be able to retain them, so you need to have the entire sales method tried and tested, tweaked and performing well, before looking for affiliates anyway.

A sales page and thank you page are a website.

These days it's possible (for example through ClickBank) to have the retailer host your sales page for you on their site (if you really want to: I wouldn't) and thus get away without having your own website, but you'll still need one to start with, surely, to test and refine your sales page and system? Yes, you probably need some sort of website, even if not a big one. The only way you can avoid it is to go with ClickBank's new "totally in-house" system, and even use that for your own private testing and refining of your sales page, and so on. I suppose it's just about possible in theory ...

Don't make the mistake of starting off with your sales page untested, and expecting to be able to attract and retain affiliates just because your product's listed on ClickBank, though: that isn't how it works at all.

Clickbank can be difficult to use... have a look at jvzoo...

I sell lots of products in different niches through jvzoo and I have never had a problem :-)

If you want affiliates to sell for you you have to invest a little more than that.

    1. you need a product that is excellent
    2. you need a sales page that converts

Also these ebook have to be based on what people need or want.

If you find a partner in your niche that is willing to work with you then maybe not need a site.
But having a site of your own would be a better route. You will need to have more pages then two pages.
Recommended pages to have. multiple sale page(for testing), multiple thanks your page (for testing), About, Privacy, Terms, Help/support, FAQ also create fb page, twitter, g+, ect...
