INTERNET MARKETING

What is the best place where i can get pictures and clip art for my website. A monthly fee would be better then buying per picture. Any Ideas?

You can also search for "public domain" pictures or clipart for what you are looking for, might take a little looking, but also free.

Use the advanced search on Flickr to find photos which are licensed for commercial use. They will still require a link back to the photo/photographer. You definitely can't just use anything you feel like.

sxc.hu has genuinely free photos available. Licensing varies, but you can often find what you need for free use.

most of the time you should be able to find free clip art or pics if you know exactly what you are looking for. Just go to google and do a search for say you want an dog picture or clipart. Just type in dog pic or dog clipart. They are stored through out the google network. Then all you have to do is right click on the image you like and click save image as best free pic around. May have taken longer to find it but it is definatly cheaper. should not have to worry about copyrights since thousands of sites already use the same images. If they really don't want you to have it also they would put in a blocker to keep use away from taking there pics. I know I have found headers I have liked saved them and modified them to fit my site or needs.

Stock Photography: Search Royalty Free Images & Photos It's pay per photo, but it's dirt cheap, high quality and the selection is amazing. Plus, it's run by Getty so you never have to worry about getting into copyright trouble.

The also have stock video and audio. Great service.

  Here's a direct link I use to Flickr's Creative Commons page, which lists thousands of photos anyone can use. There are different levels of rights. The most flexible is the Attribution License. You can use the image any way you want as long as you note the originator and link to their Flickr page.
  Even so, I would be cautious of using images clearly showing people's faces in commercial works, since you don't have a model release from that person.

Definitely Istockphoto. But if you know a photographer with good skills and a small studio you can always JV with him and his models to a longtime partnership. I did just that to my new launches: everything is going to be original.

I use istockphoto and clipart.com.

Istockphoto has a great selection of people (varying ethnicities, which is always helpful) Clipart also has photos, so it might be a good one-stop-shop for you!

I use bigstockphoto too.

TIP: Google <stockcompanyname> promo and you usually will get a blog or site with tons of promo codes. I did this for bigstock and got a free credit.

The FIRST place to check is Morgue File http://www.morguefile.com/ .

yeah i recommend stock.xchng. that's where i get most of the images that i need to load up into my ebooks and sites. there's quite a lot of variety in each category.

If you're using Wordpress, get Photo Dropper Flickr which will allow you to search for creative commons images right inside Wordpress.

Free High Quality Clipart - Free Clipart Graphics, Images and Photos. Public Domain Clipart.

8000 Free Cliparts

These are just a couple that I use for clipart images - they are public domain and can be used for commercial use. Just search google for free public domain clipart or free public domain images and there are quite a few sites out there.
