    This really sounds questionable.

It costs a one-time $49.95 to sell your product on ClickBank.

I would suggest figuring these things out before you create your product. Don't put the horse before the cart.

Why don't you start by promoting someone else's similar product first, then create your own? You could start with a little bit of paid advertising and then easily determine a good way to promote your own product through the same methods.

As Miles says, you want an over all plan before you start. You don't need to know every detail, but you should have a broad outline in your mind or better yet on paper.

I would also suggest you hire a writer or a proof reader. We all make mistakes when writing on forums, but your posts read like English is not your first language.

On the more general point of your content, getting ideas from other sources is perfectly fine. Ideas are not protected by copyright. However the specific wording, phraseology, and structure/sequence of other sources most likely is protected by copyright.

This may not sound like points relating to your original question, but having a solid product that you and others can believe in is a sine qua non for success.

Until now I know this charges:

50$ to submit my product to clickbank
around 40$ for webhosting and domain name
around 300$ for the copywriter who will write me the sales letter
around 200$ for necessary wordpress plugins
around 100$ for a freelancer who will read my product before it's launch to correct me all the kinds of english mistakes, since that it's not my primary language
100$ for advertising on clickbank to recrute more affiliates

    Is this all ??
I wanna ti explose my sales from the first day of the launch, should I create some ads ?

Please let me know where i need to paye money, and why , and how much ?

I think the biggest expenses would be in relation to promoting your product (solo ads, banner ads, buying traffic, etc). Then you would eventually get to a level where you would have a lot of affiliates promoting your product, and it would become kind of an automatic pilot business.

Hi buddy, for solo ads I would recommend to you safe-swaps.com, really good quality solo ads there (mostly for the "making money online" niche though). For banner ads I would check out the forums with the most monthly traffic (forums in your niche of interest of course) and contact the webmaster directly. Dont be afraid about reaching out to people.
        Good luck

I would recommend you join facebook groups, believe it or not... this is very powerful, look up JV groups on facebook, look for "clickbank JVs", "affiliate JVs", "super affiliates" and such, use your imagination, there are plenty of fb groups with thousands of people out there. Then make a post in there about your product and why people should promote it

In order to attract and retain any serious affiliates (who are actually going to make any sales of your product at all) you need to start from having proven conversions.

The mistake to avoid is trying to get affiliates interested while you're still testing the sales page and the entire sales process - because it's terribly difficult (if possible at all) to regain the confidence of affiliates who've already tried a product and found that it didn't convert their traffic. This is one of those situations where "taking action too quickly" can be a big mistake. You really need everything to be thoroughly tested and perfected before you start seeking affiliates.

I confess I'm kind of curious to know what makes someone imagine this might be a good way to create a product, but I have a nasty feeling that the answer might turn out to be that it was a method recommended in a "product creation" WSO or something? :p

Please excuse the observation that this revelation, together with the $300 budget for sales page creation, doesn't exactly inspire me with confidence on your behalf.

Also I forgot to mention... the more customers you get, the higher the gravity will be on the clickbank marketplace... and affiliates tend to promote the highest gravity products because that means generally that the product converts well. This way you will naturally get affiliates to promote your product

Sorry, Rod ... with apologies for what will perhaps appear an argumentative tone, this just isn't so. It's rather a popular misunderstanding: quite widely believed, but it isn't actually true at all.

Gravity simply doesn't measure customer numbers/numbers of sales. And high gravities don't necessarily imply that the product converts well at all. On the contrary, there are actually many products with single-figure gravities consistently outselling products with three-figures gravities, and there are reasons for that.

Some serious, pro-affiliates and "superaffiliates" are actually put off promoting products by a high gravity figure, and there are reasons for that, too. A high gravity doesn't even necessarily mean that any affiliate is successfully promoting the product it at all. An affiliate buying one copy of a product through his own hoplink (as many do) and an affiliate selling 5,000 copies of the product through his hoplink both add exactly the same 1.0 points to the product's gravity figure.

Hi Alexa, no need to apologize, its all good... actually your post was very, very informative to read, and an interesting read... I guess my view on clickbank gravity was a very simplified one, Ive been told by many people on countless times that definition of gravity (large number of affiliates promoting the product and many sales). Thanks for adding to my knowledge, you seem to really know your stuff

    Hi alexa

Thank you for your great advices that you always gave to me (and for all the beginners who ask for helps)

I want that you clarify me the testing of the conversion rate of my video sales page, I should do it before or after the launch of my product ?

Here is what I'm planning to do:

create the video sales page, submit my product to clickbank, create the affiliates center, publish my product into jvnotifypro, and in the main page of my product, I will put a countdawn, and when the countdown finish at the date of launch, automaticly my video sales page will appear, so, when I will test the conversion of my VSP ? before the launch or after the launch ?

I don't know if this is a strange coincidence, but this is the third time I find a thread about someone who wants to create a product about how to seduce women.

You seem to be dreaming about having affiliates promoting your unknown product in this oversaturated niche from the first day, but you have to get back to reality.

You have to be very serious and well organized if you want to recruit affiliates, but first of all, you have to be very serious when you will create your product. You don't seem to be a specialist, since you are creating a product based on other people's work. I don't think you have any chance to be successful as a Clickbank vendor.

You have to create a better product and find many JV partners if you want to follow this road.

Basic point to remember it's all about Jv's. Spend your money there and you have no problems.

Clickbank is an affiliate site, I have sites I'm a member too which is facebook, skype, websites that do clickbank.

Mingle mix or do what I do and hire a jv affiliate manager, that will pay off the greatest. Make sure she's cute that helps.

You have to understand why your idea is very dangerous.

What if your customers have already read these 10 books you got your ideas from?

They don't need to have read all them to conclude that your ebook doesn't teach them anything new. Even if they have already read only 3 of the books you will use to create your own, they will easily understand that you are merely repeating what others have already said.

    Therefore, what will happen?

Most of your customers will request a refund.

Don't worry about that. I have actually did extensive testing, the life of a launch is six months. I could do the same launch in six months and half the same buyers with less than a 10 percent refund rate.

If you don't believe me ask around. People are dream buyers, over 90 percent never put nothing to action so they forget about there purchases in less than six months.

I know I sound harsh but its the honest truth.

You said you were already making a $1000/week you could use that to build a list of people in the dating niche and supply them with free content. You could also go about recruiting affiliates. Launch your product to your list first and then do a jv-launch with affiliates having all of them promote your product at the same time. You could also hire a jv-broker to get the job done.
