Struggling to get traffic - Help

Hi Warriors!

I am new to WF but not new to trying to make money off of websites.

I started by first blog back in 2003 in the adult niche and since then have dipped in and out of affiliate marketing.

I currently run 4 x review sites, a couple of white labels, a couple of feeder sites and 10 x sub-niche sites that run on auto pilot using RSS feeds.

Unfortunately I am really struggling with traffic. With the review sites I concentrated on great content however I am only getting 5-10 visitors a day to a couple of them. They are about 6 months old.

I have setup stumbleupon, twitter & facebook accounts that bring in some traffic.
One of them does far better than the other at around 500 a day. How can I get quality (ideally Google) traffic to these sites?

This isn't rocket science, anyway, here are the most common free ways to obtain traffic. Be ware, knowing how to gain traffic won't change anything, it's all about how effective you utilize these methods:

    - Write Good Content
    - Guest Post
    - Article Marketing
    - SEO
    - YouTube / Video Marketing
    - Social Media Marketing
    - Backlinks
    - Forum Signatures
    - Word Of Mouth
    - Email Marketing

    Enjoy!

I will add paid marketing like PPC and Solo ads as well.
See! All above marketing techniques will take time to get any results. However, I believe that time is money & if you can relate with that thought then It is wise to invest some amount with these paid traffic sources and divert this traffic to a squeeze page.

      Best of Luck!

If you're in the adult niche, then I recommend looking into Plenty Of Fish advertising. That's as targeted as it's gonna get!

Facebook ads to get likes to a fan page can work really well, then slowly introduce some sales pitches.

Thanks, I already do a few of these. Is it worth buying forum sigs these days. I'm not sure about articles, I have tried it previously but never got very far.
I have purchased blog posts and hardlinks. I also buy domains with existing traffic when they come up.

      Sounds expensive.

I use Google adwords on one of my sites and I have tried purchasing traffic without much success. Google does ok I guess.

      Worth a shot, thanks.

The trouble with most of these is they involve spending money and quite often it's difficult knowing who to trust. Take email marketing for example.
Sounds good if the leads are legit and opt in but how do you know who to trust?

For me, these tactics have worked the best:

    Solo Ads
    Blog Commenting
    Forum Marketing
    JustRetweet

If you have a site that is getting 500 visitors a DAY.... then investigate and see what is was exactly that you did differntly with that website that is getting you that many visitors per day.

Im sure there is a lot of data that can help you...

Then at that point take the nessacary steps to apply those strategies to the sites that have tanked.

Worst case scenerio nothing changes lol

    Hi,

There isn't really anything that we can call "FREE TRAFFIC".

It just ends up costing you in TIME anyway.

If you really want to ramp up your traffic and find TARGETED TRAFFIC
FAST then you'll have to work out how you can first plan how much your
    whole business is worth.

Work out how much you can afford to pay for traffic to direct to these
sites but be able to turn that traffic into profits.

It seems that you have enough to work with in terms of sites that can
give you some decent ROI but you'll need to figure out how much
you can make per visitor etc etc.

Then you can start looking at PAID TRAFFIC options and see how
much you can afford to spend on that traffic.

You could use Facebook ads as an example and try to add more
paid traffic sources as you go along.

Like I say I don't really know exactly what potential your whole business
has and I am trying to give you some examples that you can improve and
    work on.

Paid traffic is the fastest way to build your business but you must know
    your numbers first.

I use paid traffic sources as a way to build my lists because I first test
to see how well my funnels convert and then make buying traffic decisions
    after I see my results.

Again this may or may not be an immediate option for you but I don't want
you to think that you just have to go for the so called FREE TRAFFIC
    route.

Hope this gives you some unique angle you can work with and take further.

    All the best
    Gavin

What you should focus on is providing high quality content on a consistent basis. You should also be building a list so you can mail them your content as well. Since you're on social media, start sharing and promoting your posts so others can see it too.

As for google traffic, you're gonna need keywords, social media interaction and high quality backlinks.

Just keep creating high quality content and share them so others can see them as well.
