i have started list building FINALLY!

Starting up an online business really is not as complicated as you may view it to be. There are 3 basic principals everyone follows to make money online.

1. Find a profitable niche where people are already spending money in
2. Build A List of people interested in that niche
3. Promote products to that list while giving massive value to them.

Remember there is not quick rich scheme in internet marketing, and nothing comes easy. It takes consistent daily work to start earning a regular income online

I was very slow at getting on the list building band wagon but it was one of the best things I have ever done :-)

I use aweber and find that they are pretty good :-)

Good on you, I've yet to dip my toe into list building but I have a feeling it's long overdue.
What I don't like from a subscriber perspective is when someone shoves sales driven content down my throat constantly so be sure to mix it up with lots of helpful info

To begin building your list you'll need to have a free gift to giveaway to your subscribers in exchange for their email details. Think of some really good information that people in your niche will need - so will sign up to get - either create the lead magnet yourself or find a PLR report that will give them the information.

Set up your squeeze page at which your subscribers will sign up in exchange for the free gift. Link all of this to your auto responder. Once you get a subscriber send out good quality information that serves and helps them. Recommend affiliate or your own products to your list subscribers in email messages once you have established a relationship with them - ie dont start off with promotions right away.

You'll need to promote your squeeze page url so that you get targeted web visitors to it. You can find many ways to do this but the idea is to find out where your target audience hang out online, then get your squeeze page in front of that audience.

You might find your audience on forums like this one, or commenting on blogs, through article directories and the many social media sites. Marketing your squeeze page is the way you'll get sign ups and to do that you need to offer good quality content that your target audience need.

you should try solo ads but you can start by trying to generate free traffic to your offer.

have been posting alot today, and got already a list of 30+ potential customers,

my list's are growing, what are the next steps? I have auto responders for everyday with a message reviewing a product related to the niche the lead came from,

how often do you send newsletters? How often do you send auto responders ect?

do you ALWAYS try and link them somewhere from an email? or do you email with general information and no links sometimes?

Congratulations. List building is a big one. Are you wondering why you waited to build your list?
Go over the tutorials a million times if you have to, so that you have a clear understanding of the system. I use AWeber and love them.
