Sexual language not allowed on clickbank

I just got my product rejected because I used "sexual language" in my headline.
The headline was the BOMB, it totally made the sale just in itself. Now...I'm not allowed to use any sexual language at my sales page at all.

Clickbank really ruined my copy, completely.

What is the matter with them? Why are they treating their customers like dogs? For fun? Or is it illegal in the US to be sexually explicit and use foul language?
Erm, For a start, Its kind of Unprofessional to have profanity or adult related text in your Titles/Sales Pitch. . .Not everyone wants to Read/See that.
Either way, if you don't like Clickbanks Policy, Move else where.

What's the use of complaining here?
There is nothing anybody here can do to get GB to accept your product.
As far as treating you like a "dog", i have not seen your product but if as you say it contains "sexually explicit and use foul language" they have the right to decline...

CB has a detailed Legal and Policies page did you read it?

ClickBank is older than Google, and an enormously successful online retailer with a turnover-to-date of over $2.5 Billion. My guess is that they have a fairly clear perspective of what does and doesn't sell well online, and know what they're doing, actually. Maybe they regarded it as unprofessional and undesirable and not something they'd want to be associated with?

My own suspicion is that strongly sexual/obscene language attracts a lot of attention, but can actually cost a lot of sales, too. It's a bit difficult for anyone to comment much more on the specific case, I think, without knowing what the product is and why you felt sexual language was needed to promote it.

Adult only content is a different visa and MasterCard risk category from non adult. So it's quite likely they would have to charge higher fees, and require much larger reserves, possibly from every vendor, if they allowed this stuff.

They've probably decided they are better off leaving this business to the specialist adult payment providers. It's not like clickbank is short of opportunities or scope for growth in the entire rest of the market for downloads.

This. Already Amex gives a warning/freeze on my account when I try to buy through clickbank.

Just change your headline. Sounds like you didn't even test that headline anyway.

A headline will not ruin your copy completely. If that's the case you probably need better copy.

Yeah I realize I got a little caught up in the moment there. Was planning on release today and now I have to change a bunch of stuff etc...but thinking about it, yes, sexually explicit content comes with bigger risks with payment processing etc.

I have no inside information on this, but maybe because of the times we are living in maybe they have flagged the keyword "bomb" as something they won't allow.

I'm sure they are aware that "the bomb" means awesome or cool in urban slang, but it also has other connotations and maybe they don't want to deal with that.

In any case, I doubt your entire sales copy was ruined because of this.

You can always work it in with a split tester like Visual Website Optimizer after you get approved with the tamer headline.

Or you can always go to a different network or use a private affiliate program
