Is there such recession proof niche?

Hi warrior,

Do you think such niche exist? Where you no need worry regardless what happen to the economy. Notice some niche, people will cut them due to recession. Then alive again once start recovering.

    People who have problems that need to be solved regardless of what's going on with the economy are such niches. You have probably seen niches with people who are desperate for a solution?

    Life goes on even during recessions, right? People still get married, have babies. buy cars, fix their cars, want to get rid of acne, gain weight, lose weight, exercise, on and on. Too many to mention.

    Try googling "recession proof niches," and I'm confident you'll find a list or two.

    When people are broke...

    They want to make money.

    They want to save money.

    They want to get out of debt.

    They want to sharpen skills.

    They want to look better.

    They want to feel better.

    Hell... When people are broke... They ache all over.

    What does that provide to you as an opportunity seeker?

    - An opportunity to offer accommodating ailments.

    Metaphorically speaking of course. (Since you know... Not really "sick"; just "sick" of their situation).

    Making Money - People who have less look for ways to have more.

    Saving Money - People with less look for ways to cut down their expenses.

    Desperate People - Gambling, pay day loans, pawn.

    Then of course anything with inelastic demand. IE any purchases that are essential and don't change based on wealth.

    I think most niches are recession proof. Besides, who cares. Just enter a new niche if (when) yours gets hit. Or, just do it like right now. Diversify. Marketing is about what markets want, not what you want. We just figure it out. So that's your job.

      I would go with a health niche. People are not so desperate to look better or to find a date, or even to make money, as they are desperate when they have health problems. You may not care too much about how you look or how big is your paycheck, or you may be not motivated enough to do something about it, but you can't ignore a back pain or a tumor, you'll definitely be looking for a solution for them.
