How to capture email using blogger email subscription gadget ?

hello. 1st I apologize if this is not the right place for my thread so if you feel move it on the appropriate.

I made a simple blog on blogger and i want to capture emails via with with the idea to promote them stuff further down in time.

I see there is a gadget on the layout tab in blogger for email subscription for them to get the feed burn, but i don't see anywhere the list of emails that is being generated when they enter their email. Is it only for feed or can I actually somewhere see their emails collected ?
Or should I just use email responder service ?

Thanks

I highly recommend you get an email autoresponder service. Get something like Aweber, Getresponse, GVO, etc. That way, you can generate leads, build a list, be able to build a relationship with your list by having the ability to send out mass emails and be able to drive traffic as well.

Once you have a service, you can easily create opt-in forms where people can input their information like their emails for example.

I wouldn't even use Blogger. You're better off with Wordpress. It's free with alot of web hosts.

But if you insist..... go to Aweber, get an autoresponder, create an opt-in form, get the code, then insert on the side of your blog using their "insert HTML" feature.

Btw my market is not English speakers. How does affect this when using blogger or MC ? I've already promoted products on MC and no one said anything so far...

You're in good company: this was also true - at some point - of every single person who has ever had their account closed down by Mailchimp for doing affiliate marketing. But if this one little post doesn't convince you, then maybe nothing will (I think some people have to experience an accident themselves, in person, to accept that it's going to happen, and reading countless warnings from others to whom it's happened, who explain why, doesn't influence them, because they were all, on some level, just "other people", so all their collective experience isn't relevant?): http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post3762385

Easy pal. Once you have your autoresponder code, head over to blogger, click layout from the menu, then click add gadget from the position you want the opt-in form inserted, and choose HTML/JAVASCRIPT from the list. Paste the code & save, done.

That depends on your autoresponders, not blogger. Some autoresponders have counters you can put so visitors know how many emails subscribed. Check your autoresponder if they have this feature.

Well I accept your concern, however I don't promote them straight affiliate. I just update them with my next articles or books. Anyway now I understand that MC purpose is not for doing business via it and will not last long tern if I persist in using it that way. Thank you for advices.

I will switch to professional paid autoresponder service once I build a better bigger list of people.

Btw... can I export and import mailing lists from MC to other services do you know ?

          Thanks once more time
