Looking for direction (blogging)

So I have a travel blog that is purely about Thailand. Its a nice little outfit, but I plan to go to Australia next month for a year on a "working holiday".

I have a small blog following, but I am unsure if I should carry on the same blog or create a new one for this trip and kind of link them together off each other?

I think it would be better to stay on the same blog, as I already a steady amount of readers and organic hits from google, were with a new one I will have to start all over again?

    I would build off your current blog, depending on the current set up. Take the site and make it more generic ex. 'Travel in Asia' and then you can start to post about all your travels.

    I do caution linking them together.

      I would stay on the same blog if i was you pal. Can't you just ad a section to it, something like 'The Australian Experience'? It would save you more work and time pal.
