How to Start an Email Platform?

Hi Warriors,

I have had a question on my mind for quite some time. I am very interested in starting an email sending service similiar to or Aweber, or more specifically a company like this:

SMTP server, bulk & marketing email service - Mailjet

I want to offer email account packages and email broadcasting services to end users. What is the behind the scenes platform I would need to set something like this up? Thanks in advance for any advice that could point me in the right direction.

    You would need to invest thousands into custom development. Autoresponder sites like Aweber and MailChimp aren't using public software that you can just buy.

    As said above you certainly don't need money for it just coding experience i wouldn't invest into softwares like Mailchimp as if you buy it i'm not sure if you can sell it where as if you create your own it would be worth absolutely tons, great money maker also !
