Question about banner ads..

I want to start getting into doing banner ads. I have my lead capture page all set up, now I want to start advertising banner ads but I don't know where to begin. Where can I find someone to do a banner for me? Someone told me to go to fivrr. I paid five bucks for a banner, and all it was a photo shop banner. I want a real live banner I can forward to my lead capture page. I'm just starting out in IM so even though I don't mind doing paid ads, not trying to have to sell my first born.

    Fiverr is indeed a great place to get banners. Probably most banners will be designed with Photoshop.

    What do you mean by "real live banner"? An animated one? A banner they themselves place on a third-party Web site for you?

    That's done with the HTML code itself. The person you give the banner to will be able to do that. Just give them two things: (1) the banner you got from Fiverr; (2) the URL of your capture page.

    If its a live banner doesn't it have to be on a site? They gave me basically a photo shop banner on an email. Its not live or animated. That's my point. I'm looking for a live banner. Doesn't that have to be hosted on a site somewhere??

      Ah, I see now. Yeah, probably most of those $5 Fiverr gigs are going to be for the creation of the banner itself, not the hosting of the banner. If anyone's offering media buys on Fiverr for $5, I'd expect their site to be in the dumps and not worth even the $5.

    Mtihani, I don't think you understand. They gave me a PIC. That's it. No real live banner. That's what I'm looking for. I have a lead capture page, just wanted to know how do I go back getting a real live banner.

    Are you using tracking? If yes, you can just take the campaign links and upload it into your traffic source that accept banner as advertising medium.

    There are many sites as Fiverr. such as Odesk.com, Elance.com, rentacoder.com, vworker.com, 99designs.com & so on. you can take your banner from any one. it does not matter.

    If you want to clickable your banner, you need to put the HTML code such as: <A HREF="Your page URL/ 01.html"><b><img src="01.png"></A> On the other hand if you want to sliding image, you need to use a .gif file it will make by Adobe photoshop or, similar program like this.

    live banner is just banner you can click on it and it send you to your landing page.

    so basically each media buying allow you to upload your banner and they do the linking you provide with your site automatically.
