Have You Ever Had 100% Cart Abandonment Rate?

I had another thread on it a few days ago, but it was written with a different angle.

Anyway, I'm just curious if anyone here has ever had to deal with a 100% cart abandonment rate. That means that 100% of all the people who clicked on the Buy It Now link and were redirected to the PayPal checkout page, did not complete the order.

This is exactly what happened in my case - 18 people have clicked on the Buy Now link (out of 486, which isn't stellar in itself, I know), but not a single one of them has bought anything.

I didn't expect crazy conversion rates with my first PPC campaign and product - but I was honestly shocked not to get a single purchase of a $19.95 product with 2 bonuses.

I tested the purchase process by placing an order with my credit card and it went through just fine - so I really have no clue what could've caused it.

Has anyone ever had this problem? If yes, how did you overcome it?

Wow, that is pretty high isn't it?
The only time I ever had 100% abandonment was when my site was broken.

Are you filtering out WF traffic taking a peek at your order process per the last thread about it?

Or is this all PPC clicks?

    Brian,

Thanks for responding - yes, I have filtered out WF traffic; in fact, the numbers above already exclude referrals from WF and are based solely on PPC traffic.

EDIT: I am now in the process of switching from PayDotCom to Clickbank - as a result, the payment button has been deactivated pending the approval process.
