Banner Advertising Recommendations Needed

Hello Warriors.

I am thinking about advertising a banner for an affiliate product. Does anyone know of some excellent places to advertise your banner, that are cost effective too?

    Large niche-related forums are a good place to start. Built in target market right there.

    Next would be related websites and/or using Google Adwords based up whatever criteria you choose.

    I'm not very familiar with Facebook advertising, but maybe that's an option for one of your banners.

    If there are complementary websites to your own, see if you could do an advertising exchange between your sites.

    Oh, and not to forget. If, for example, your niche is some sport, you could contact college and the various local clubs and see if you could display your banner on their site. They are usually very happy to earn some money.

    Google adwords would be the best choice you can make.
    PPC ads are great, depends on the keyword research you do.

    Find a list of blogs and forums that are related to your niche and contact owners and tell them you'd like to advertise on their websites. You can go to buysellads and select placements based on your criteria. You can find some good sites there.

    I've used buysellads in the past but I didn't get the results I was expecting. A good method is to to direct buy with personal blogs. The process can be a bit annoying but it can work wonders.

    Aside a high traffic forum related to your niche, I can't think of anything else except ofcourse you search for high traffic/ranking blogs or sites in your niche and see if they will allow advertisement, some actually do.
