Hey,

Havn't been on here for a while but was searching google for information and found a good post.

Just wondered what peoples first impressions of my site and clickbank product about building autoblogs?

Honest opinions are more than welcome

Thanks

Grant

I reformatted it for you. Here's the link: Creating Wordpress Autoblogs

I personally don't like pop ups (or downs). They make me leave. My personal opinion? I hate all pages like yours that look like every other "get rich quick" scheme ala landing page ala squeeze page thingy out there. I'm so sick of them, I could throw up. - Sorry.

    Hey, you asked right? LOL

Yeh definately, i basically used templates set out by other marketers and i thought the same to be honest!

I don't mind critisism at all, aslong as its constructive, any examples of how it could be laid out?

    Hi Grant,

A few remarks. First, placing the head shot top center doesn't do anything for your impact. If you want to introduce yourself, do it farther down after you get the visitor interested in your product.

The headline is a so-what kind of headline. Unless Guy Draper is really famous, you're offering expertise from a nobody (as far as the customer is concerned). Also, ditch the "learn" approach. Most people looking for an automated system are not really wanting to learn anything. Just tell 'em the bottom line. (Now Have Your Own Full-Fledged, Cash-Attracting Blog that's an Automatic Money Magnet, even if Youi're an Absolute Beginner) or something like that. It's got to drip with emotion and hope, or they won't go on to read anything else.

The first subhead - What does the book contain? - is abrupt. You haven't laid any foundation for mentioning any book. The first thing you need to do is build up rapport with your reader. Remind them how hard and complicated it is to build and maintain a blog. Get them involved in all the technicalities and difficulties and emotion they've already experienced (or are afraid of experiencing). Then offer them a way out. Some hope. A cure.

Once you've shown them the problems and the solution, then you can introduce yourself and show your picture if you want.

By the same token, talking about autoblogs before you've laid a good foundation will only sound like more techno-speak to many of your visitors. Make it a little more bite-size and it'll go down much more smoothly.

All the stuff after the Order Now button - dump it. Those links are just ways for the visitor not to buy. If you want to mention your affiliate plan, fine, but just put a link at the bottom that says "make money" or "get cash fast" or "want to work with me" or even a simple "affiliate" but don't make a deal out of it. Not on your sales page.

Robert Sheinfeld once mentioned his secret of getting strong clear results from a webpage. He called it his TOT system. Each page should have just one single purpose, one thing you want your visitor to do on that page. The One Thing (TOT). Pare it down to the one thing, and lose everything else.

This means you also get rid of the Adobe url. You can give them that on the download page. In fact, it's a good idea to give the direct link to the free reader (not just the Adobe top page).

You probably need to spell out your guarantee. The stronger and more emphatic your guarantee sounds, the more confident you seem in your product, so the better your sales will go. After all, since you're selling through Clickbank, it has to be guaranteed anyway, so might as well get some good mileage from it.

You might want to make your closing signature a little more personable and warm. And do try a PS or two. The PS is the second most read part of a sales lettter after the headline, believe it or not. This is the perfect place to recap your guarantee or the strongest benefit of your product. And of course to put another call to order (with text sales link).

    Hope this helps.

Cheers from warm and smiling Thailand,
    Charles
