Word Press I finally understand it and I cant beleive it

Hello Warriors,

Wordpress is the dogs danglies, I just got my head around it today.... and I really like it!!

I started my own name blog just to play with it and it really is coming together!

Do you know if there is a plugin I can use to sell a digital product?

This is my first wordpress site trie before but preferred drupal... I still use drupal but I might change it.

Things this last week have really started to go up a gear as far as productivity and earnings been in a bit of a lull due to information overload.

    A plugin to sell a digital product? No sure what you mean, but if you want a terrific script for selling digital products, try DLguard. I love it.

    I only started using drupal because my brother in law worked loads with it at work and I could ask him for help... google likes drupal too and you can do just as much with drupal as word press.... word press has better templates though

    Big wordpress guy myself. I highly recommend eshop as a good plugin to use for digital downloads. I actually just setup a WSO myself and am using this plugin to run my delivery system. If you're a joomla guy, can't go wrong with virtuemart.

    Everyone has their favorites. What is "best". Just like Wordpress... once you get the gist of how it works Joomla is an amazing piece of Open Source Software. I've installed and tested about a dozen CMS's and Drupal is a good choice too.

    It's all about learning how they work then picking the one with the features that suit your needs.

    I'm not sure why you need a plug in to sell something. You can place links in a lot of different ways.

      HopAdPlugin creates Adsense like ad units using ClickBanks data feed. Works well. It's free, just add .com to the name.

    Here's an expert tip.
    For a simple ecommerce solution, try QuickShop
    WordPress › Quick Shop WordPress Plugins
    It works great on the latest wordpress platform as well (2.7.1) , although it says "up to 2.5" only.
    Just try it and you'll see how ingenius this plugin is.
    Upload - Activate - add PayPal widget - add cart with Visual Editor for posts/pages.
    You can "tune" the plugin from: Settings - QuickShop

    I'm an utterly devoted fan of Wordpress, and after trying a bunch of different things, I can say the easiest way to sell digital products via wordpress is through E-Junkie. They take care of storage of your files, transactions, and secure delivery.

    All you have to do is take the code they generate for you and paste it into a post or page. You can also create your own buy buttons, buy replacing the default image url in the button code with your own button image url.

    For sitemaps, I use Dagon Design's plugin. Sitemap Generator Plugin for Wordpress Dagon Design I also use their contact form.

    Another favorite plugin is Advertising Manager, formally known as Adsense Manager. You can use it to run virtually any ads, and it lets you run Adsense without having to set up your ad blocks in your adsense admin area. You just plug in your pub-id and set your ad size and colours.
