Hi all, I've been thinking recently, how there's a certain resource that is missing not just for me, but I would imagine for many more successful/advanced warriors. You see, I love the WF and I love buying products to learn as muchas possible, but what I have found since reaching a clear level of advancement in my IM career, is that I'm not getting the answers/ references I need to push myself above the next level. Sure, advanced questions can be asked here i the forum, but often the questions I'd like to ask (and have asked in the past) have not been fully satisfied. I'm not saying it's because some folks aren't smart or whatever, it's just that this forum does tend to have more activity from beginners. Now what I find is that most of the time, I find myself contributing here more than reading/learning from others. That's great, but I also need to find a place where more advanced/progressed marketers hang out, so that I can discuss the "higher end" of business growth and advanced tactics. This is not a slight on anyone who visits this forum and is less experienced, because I love to help these folks I really do. And I'm not saying that smart marketers/multi million dollar per year business owners don't frequent this forum, because obviously they do. But what I AM saying, is that I think it would be great to have an undiluted, concentrated advanced group somewhere online, where we can discuss more advanced tactics of growing already successful business plans and strategies. For traditional brick and mortar business owners, they have trade shows, conferences etc. Online business owners have the same, such as mastermind groups etc...but wouldn't it be great if there was a specific forum or online group where you could congregate too? Does anyone know of such a place? Kind regards, Nick P.S - I know it's hard to define "advanced" and I wouldn't want to pigeon hole what success is or means, because I realize it's personal. But what I'm trying to get at is a group of people who have experience measurable results, and achieved tough milestones in their IM career, where income levels and lifestyles reflect their achievements, perhaps. |

Two main areas: # 1: Building a network of other successful internet marketers. Most of us talk to each other and in many cases their friendships we developed when we were early in our careers...then years later we've grown up together in the business. # 2: Paying for mentoring by successful marketers. Many very successful internet marketers are paying multiple thousands of dollars a year to get an objective viewpoint from other marketers. Once you start making serious money that kind of feedback can be worth tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars to you. One thing I will say...welcome to the real world. Once you start getting good at something you'll find there are not a whole lot of people to keep you company. Kindest regards, Andrew Cavanagh |

I understand. Once your business grows to a certain level you are no longer looking for ways to pay the bills but investment advice to make that money you have earned work in many more different ways. I use a financial consultant for that. You start to find some flaws in your character and ability to progress to different levels so I use a personal coach for that. You need to be a lot more alert and be on top of your game so I use a physical trainer for that. Most of the things you face once you get to a certain level have not so much to do with the business as they do with personal development etc. As Andrew said mixing with other successful people who can help you overcome these roadblocks is essential as they can show you how they overcame them. It is no longer about strategies and techniques but logistics. Quentin |

Thanks guys, So obviously there are alot of possible mentors and coaches, but I suppose it comes down to whether the person you WANT to be coached by is available for coaching... ...or if you don't have anyone in mind, then finding a way to get exposure to possible experts who can move you forward. I'm not saying I'm at the top by any means, but I can see why they say it's lonely up there. |
