I'm New and Need Some Help With My Site

I am new to Warrior Forums and at running a website. I just purchased a site off of Flippa and It is extremely basic but I felt the concept was a good idea. The site is about things we all do and people can email me things we all do and I can choose to post it up or not. The guy I bought the site from said he put it up on reddit for 24 hours and received over 275 hits. It has no way to make money yet. What kind of products should I sell and what is the best way to get traffic to my kind of site? What should I do to make it better?

    Hey truthseeker,

You say your site is about "things we all do"

That is a pretty "big" topic as we all do many things.

I recommend you include a link to your site or a bit more information.

The clearer your questions, the clearer your answers.

That being said a basic plan you can follow is:

You could do research into the problems people have when they are doing the things they do.

Produce a report that helps them solve some of the problems,
and offer that as a free gift in exchange for their email.

Then email them with offers for affiliate products that help
    them further.

To do this you will need to study email marketing / list building strategies, skills and tools.
(which you can find much information about, here in the forum)

    Hope this helps some.

A general "rule of thumb" is to solve a problem. If your market has an issue that keeps coming up over and over again, then target that.

Target the problem, find a solution, provide it to your market.

Although you've left a handful of questions still open, the above is a pretty general way to go about it.

Of a course a link would help but you could always try to get adsense up on this site. You could make a couple of bucks if the niche's right.

As for traffic (again it's hard to help you) you could try soloads at first.

What niche are you in? It's not clear. If you try to sell to everybody, you will reach no one. And your advertising costs will be astronomical.
