Have you ever purchased TARGETED VISITORS and did it work?

Did you guys ever purchase those targeted visitors?

You know, like 25,000 targeted visitors for $25.00 or something of that sort.

Is that real traffic that can be converted or is it a scam?

If it is legitimate, I'll launch Astrology website and buy 100K package of Astrology targeted traffic.

And another question: would that type of traffic be good for direct response websites? Either sales copy or subscription?

For some reason, I don't have a good feeling about it...

Another question: is it safe to purchase targeted email marketing traffic or is it spam and hosting can suspend your website for spam?

Yes I have purchased so called targeted traffic in the past .. whilst all my analytics stats pointed to it being genuine traffic, Google itself thought otherwise and banned my adsense account as a result.

As far as I am concerned it is a lesson learned and I will definitely NOT buy targeted traffic again, no matter how genuine it appears to be.

        Hey

It all comes down to what your conversion is like on your website with visitors to sales I have tried many paid traffic services and made lots of sales you just have to find the real traffic suppliers.

I have tried adf.ly in the past... surprisingly I got quite a lot of opt-ins on my squeeze page, BUT it turned out that they were only freebie seekers... pretty bad opening rate when sending emails and no sales at all.....
so it probably always depends on what you want to use this traffic for...

I've tried Adfly before too, and the quality of the traffic was pretty poor. I hardly got any conversions on any offers, and like you said most people clicking on the ads aren't in the mindset to buy anything.

As for targeted visitors, I've bought some over the past for different sites but I prefer using Adwords or Facebook Ads to target people individually myself.

I always experiment with 'cheap traffic.' It almost always fails

You have to clean it up quite a bit (running them through opt-ins etc), but even then there's no guarantees. That said, I assume there are actually some very strong sales funnels out there that can make use of this traffic.

If it was real traffic the sellers would not be selling it!
They would get a far better return using it themselves.

    Cheap traffic never works

      Hi,

have to agree with others on here , it is rarely targetted and even if you get optins most are poor quality leads and never buy anything when first started out tried it all traffic exchanges , adlfy, traffic swarm, list joe and had over 2k on list end result no sales and lots of queries why they were on list lots of foreign traffic too despite buying supposedly geotargetted leads which made me suspicoius but we live and learn

best place today for targetted paid traffic is facebook, althugh they dont convert massively to buyers if you get them to opt in and give them value they convert its cheap and you can filter down to exact audience with unbelievable precision hope that helps

I target people through social media and I get good results with it,
I have tried those targetted traffic in the past but I never had any success with it, but I've found social media to be very accurate and cheap for getting targetted visitors and getting leads.

I have bought targeted traffic and it was worthless also.

Nowadays it is not hard to investigate, find the site you want to use and just
google for reviews and have you used

Exactly. Almost every service out there you want to try has got at one point or another a dishonest review simply because it is running an affiliate program and the people that are saying nice thing about it will be paid if you use it.

I think your best bet is to ask what services wouldn't work for your business. Right now I stopped a worldwide campaign from Adf.ly because I was getting traffic from mostly non-english speaking countries which is irrelevant to my business. I will try another with USA traffic and see the results. I will keep you posted

May be targeted traffic does not work for everyone but you can never say that it will never work. It depends from which sources you are buying the traffic. There are innumerable number of scammers around the web.

25,000 visitors for $25.00 should send up red flag right out of the gate. What I mean is anyone that claims that they can sell you "qualified targeted traffic" knows full well how valuable that is to any business.

Yes, there are some good paid traffic sources out there but you really need to know your market demographics. Depending on the offer and market Facebook is a good place to test.

Another example of a good paid traffic source is Plenty of Fishes ad platform, very laser targeted as far as demographics but obviously not for every offer and or market.

Never worked for me. I have come across traffic that even seems to be real - there are clicks on page and bounce rate is low. It turned out that there was no mouse movement of the visitors, which means these were clicking bots. The sellers claim that its popup traffic, redirect traffic and browser bar traffic and who knows what..never worked.
But again 5% of the sellers might be selling legit traffic.

I've bought targeted traffic, and have learned that it works best when sending someone to sites that do revenue sharing (ie the more traffic you send your pages, the more money you make).

First of all, thank you EVERYONE for help!

It is NOT for Adsense website. I want to build a direct response sales copy website where I promote new ebook on how to get service clients for your business.

My idea is to sell it maybe for $69.00 because it is actually a real case study on how I did it. All content is written from experience and I seriously never saw any ebook like that out there. In other words, I am extremely confident that anyone who wants service clients will love it and most importantly - will get lots of clients. I use the same what I call now system for people who are just starting out and have no budget, and it works like magic. Again, I am extremely confident in quality of the product. This will not be some "downloadable stuff" written for sole purpose of making money.

Then, I thought if I could just pay for targeted traffic, why bother doing free traffic generation? Especially when you have direct response website?

If website would convert at 3%, then we are talking roughly $207.00 in sales. But wheer can I buy such a traffic? I don't like PPC...

I understand that 25,000 visitors for $25 is not the best traffic, but I was thinking that if you expect to make 1 - 2 sales out of TARGETED 25K, then your expectation isn't crazy, right?

Now, if the traffic is garbage, then yeah... Forget it...

People, I am seriously getting frustrated. Look, I am not in a position right now where I can put good 6 - 8 hours a day in advertising (getting free traffic).

Is there really a source out there where let's say you can spend $10.00 on targeted traffic for direct response website and get at least 1 $69.00 sale? Assuming sales copy is good...

Or should I take a different route here?

By the way, I also wanted to say that getting purely organic Google traffic just by having content works fairly ok for me. So, those people who are in doubt, don't be.

My disadvantage of it is that you have to wait, have a website with lots of pages, do quiet bit of work getting there.

I am at the point where I want to go from making $3K to $10K with direct response websites in different niches without spending too much time. I can do "manually" through Google if I would have time. But just the idea of how much work it would take for me lowers my energy and motivation.

I've purchased from two different sources..

One sent me traffic all from the same webpage, my page was used as a 6 second ad before being sent to the requested page.

The second one sent me traffic fom hit2hit.com a traffic exchange.

Needless to say they're total garbage, the only good traffic I've found comes from reputable solo vendors.

If you know of any other credible sources I'm always open to test new things.

    Great question.
I dabbled with buying targeted traffic from a few places i.e. Twitter followers; email list ads and the like and literally had no success with this. Twitter messages simply get buried with all the other messages in the person's account; people are tired of receiving emails and/or being sold to. I know I for one am and have opted out of a lot of vendors' email lists because all I'm receiving is one sales email after another and no emails providing good quality content that will further inform me to progress my internet endeavours.

    Hope this helps.

If you want to play the paid traffic, consider PPC that best paid traffic method.

    Adwords, BingAd.

All these things never worked for me or I should say "THEY DO NOT WORK". Why would some one sell traffic ? If its highly targeted traffic as they say then they can easily monetize it and make much more money rather than selling it for pennies.

    Just think about it

pop up, pop under, interstitial, skim redirects etc is all junk traffic for normal every day use....

      Why?

IT IS UNTARGETED! I don't know why you all keep calling it targeted, its not. It won't work for what you are doing. You need a very special kind of funnel, or offer, to use it. Neither of those applies to you, nobody will buy out of that traffic.

Just because they say its astrology traffic, means nothing, its not targeted.

Targeted pop ups, etc is like Traffic Vance CPV, that will work because its actually targeted and can be optimized.

Anyone who doesn't believe me, go buy $25 worth of your "targeted" 10,000k hits traffic and come back here and share the results.

The closest I've come is putting ads that are extremely targeted to my ideal customer on pages that also target that ideal customer. Image ads on Google's content network can work very well for this, either as PPC or CPM. The idea with PPC is not to get the most clicks; it's to get all the right clicks while at the same time filtering out the wrong ones.

If you are selling goods and services for a website and don't have and Adsense there, then it should be fine. It;ll get you traffic but not sure if that'll be genuine. I have used visithero and hookuptraffic.com and both worked well for me. I had about two leads, but then I went on with bing ads and from then on I don't buy web traffic, I only seek services offered by bing ads and Google Adwords.
This is a definite true story. I had two google Adsense accounts suspended, and I lost the ability to advertise on Google adwords for this very reason. If you want to buy targeted traffic, do your research, and BE PREPARED TO PAY FOR IT. If you want Real, Geo Targeted traffic, it will cost you. there are very few services that offer the real deal, and I am experimenting with a few right now. (It's a waste of money, but if I find one that hits, I should make it all back, I hope). I will also let people know if I find one as well.
