Do Duplicate Photos Count???

I have been creating a bunch of squidoos lately. I have been changing the text over 50% on each, but I have been using the exact same 2 photos on each.

Do pictures count as dup content, at least if they are named the same? Should I even care about this?

I don't think the photos count as duplicate content, but I wouldn't put the alt-tags as the same.. I would change those up.

Yeah as long as the name of the photo and alt text is different you should be ok. Your readers may notice that they are all the same but that may not matter.

Hmm, I'm not sure how to use alt tags for a picture in a squidoo. I am not linking to the photo. I am just uploading it using their uploader, but I can just keep changing the name of the pic.

Duplicate image names will not hurt you in seo but will make your ppc price go up. The spiders do not actually look at the pictures just the alt tags

How do you add in alt tags in a squidoo? I don't see anywhere to edit the html for the pics.
