Why some threads are in bold

I noticed some threads are in bold while others aren't
Any idea why?

I'd love to see the threads I start take off and show in bold instead

    Not sure, as I'm new here. But as far as I can see those bold threads are the ones that are new or have a new reply since your last visit. Those that are not didn't change since then.
