This is a call to all ebook sellers and creators...

Please, if you never priced and sold an ebook, don't reply

I want to know, how would you price a 100-page IM book, based on number of pages, based on the results promised, or based on something else (like bonus offered)?

Price it at around $7 to $17 and offer something at a higher price on the backend.
Personally I create a book and then a video course outlining each chapter and sell that for say $27 on the backend.

It really depends on where you are going to be selling your ebook. If it's on WF as a WSO then $7-$17 seams to be the way to go. Add to that a OTO and then possibly a BE. Think about turning your ebook into a video course as a OTO or BE.

Outside of WF the sky's the limit as far as pricing goes.

First off. The value of your eBook is not directly related to how long it took you to create it, or how many pages it has. Personally, I would much rather purchase a book that solves a specific problem, than a long drawn out fluff filled piece of crap that drones on for 100 pages.

Truth is though. It depends on the content of the book, the problem it solves, who it's for, and how it's presented. There's no logical answer to your question that fits everybody's needs.

I've read great books that were given away for free, and crap books sold for $97.

    I agree with Retsced.

Rather than focusing on the number of pages or how long it took you to create, ask yourself what value it adds to your readers. Will they make a certain amount of cash if they follow your steps? Will it save them time (which of course, means money)?

If you can quantify this, it makes it a lot easier to price your book. Make sure that you have laser sharp focus surrounding what your book does and who it's for. It'll make it much easier to write your sales copy and actually sell it. A generic book about MMO is unlikely to lead to high sales. If you can hone in on a specific problem though and solve it, you're halfway there.

The Ban Hammer got this OP... Wonder what happened but aside from that I don't think he'll be needing an answer.

ummmm. hope you don't mind me asking but what is an op?
