How do you disable html?

I want to add html to my wordpress blog that has my post url and anchor texted backlink to every post, so people will be more likely to link back to me. How do I add the html to my page without it converting into the link?

    Sorry but this post headline made me chuckle... I just had to look.

    I think you might be the first to ask the open ended question "How do you disable html" which is an ironic question to ask in an Internet Marketing forum.

    Of course that is because the question had no context.

    You may want to click on the edit function and change the title to say "How do you disable html in a wordpress post?"
