Thank you guys so much!

My name is Scott and I started IMing about a month ago. I suffer heavily from depression which results in me taking ALOT of time off work and visiting doctors / pych etc etc and ended up just wasting my time playing online games or doing nothing. I found this website and was fascinated which the different methods that you could make money online. I now spend so much time reading free WSO's and about other peoples success i have started making a few of my own websites to test out a few things. I would love to make a full time income off this but realize its probably not a realistic goal and would be happy when i see my first $50 month. Just wanted to say thanks to every single one of you for posting up some valuable information and sharing your knowledge

Thanks for the reply I am currently doing research on social media to try and get some free traffic. Without much income at the moment I am trying all the possible free options i can to see if i am able to monition my site. Hopefully some day soon I will be able to return to work full time so i can afford to get some wso's and really kick start my IM.

    Cheers

  • Internet marketing can be a great business to be in if you suffer from depression. But be careful. Don't get your hopes up too high or you could end up being disappointed and then that can make your depression worst. Also do not spend all of your time on the computer for the same reason. Make sure you meet with real people. Go out and do fun and healthy things, even if it is free stuff like riding your bike or hiking - This is so important. Also make sure you have back up income because you can never rely on your online income until you get to a certain level. You will know when you are at that level and it will likely take you years.

The reason why IM can be ideal for you is that you can work the hours you choose. If your not feeling well then that can be the time to do something else or recuperate. Depression often cycles so there will be times when you are feeling better and that is when you do your best work.

Best of luck to you and remember that whatever it is it will pass. The good and the bad.

Your not alone in your depression. There are many successful marketers that suffer from it.

Hey Scott - honestly, if you asked me - I wouldn't know you were suffering from depression - you have such a good go-getter attitude that differentiates you from so many others out here.

Its this positivity that will see you through the dark times and also learning curve in the IM industry.

In any case, if you need any help - or if you need a friend - feel free to reach out!

    All the best!

      Thanks for the reply,

I think that IM'ing has provided me with a great distraction and also some form of hope although its in a completely different direction. It may sound stupid but from my fun blog i made like $1.25 from adsense last month. To everyone else it may seem such a stupid little amount but to me it makes me think well if i made 10 stupid blogs i could make 10 dollars a month. I find it all very exciting

        That's a great start!

        Frame that $1!
I remember making that first $1 online. It was a surreal feeling.
And I took a long time to get there! So chin up - you are heading to the right direction.

Trust me - there's going to be many naysayers - even in the WF. But there's a reason why its name Warrior Forum...as a warrior, you need to look beyond these people who puts you down and look beyond what is possible.

I think you have the right attitude to have fun while you are doing this.
Experiment different stuff. If you can't afford a course - don't buy it yet. Ask questions. Research stuff (most stuff are available online).
        Experiment. Experiment. Experiment.

And feel free to reach out for support. Good people still exist :-)

Its a mixed bag here in WF - but always keep a lookout for people who add value to your questions, posts, and your attitude to keep you positive. Environment plays a VERY important part in your IM journey.

Great stuff! Try meditation - it has certainly helped me in more ways than one. As usual, if you need any help - just drop me a PM. Nothing to sell - just advice. I remember starting out a long time ago and wished there was someone to help me.

Yes, agreed, we all go through ups and downs, I guess that is just life.

This place is full of great talents, and info that is just begging to be used to build multimillion dollars companies, infact some who hang out here have.

Keep chin up, and go get em.

That ^^^ tells me that you have your mind in the right place.
There are far too many people who jump into this with unrealistic expectations, maybe as a result of all the BS out there.
Either way, it's refreshing to see someone who has a grip on reality.
    Good luck...

Hey Scott, I agree that you have a great attitude! It's easy to get stuck in a rut, so the fact that you want to make something of yourself instead of wallowing in self pity, is your first achievement!

Yes, there's a lot of great advice to be had on this forum, but there's also a lot of 'not so great' advice. Just be sure to do plenty of research (on a product and it's creator) before venturing into something new and you should do just fine

      Onwards and upwards!

yes but you will get that anywhere online. Over the years, I have tested resources and info in here and it has paid dividens...the worse is to be overloaded and think nothing will work, and everything is a scam. That is where newbies become unstuck I think. Esepcially in 2013 anyway.

Of course the gurus are going to throw people off, so they do not get in their way and saturate their own resources. But Much money online has been make by reverse engineering, and it is a case of DO WHAT I DO, not what i SAY.

See where you are are sent, after you buy, optin, emails are sent, why you are watching a video, or sales video. Doing this and breaking them down is very smart and profitable...yet no one does it.

celente, while I agree that you can get bad advice anywhere online, that's not what Scott was referring to. He was talking about the warrior forum, which is full of great resources and people, along with some that are not so great. I didn't actually mention the word scam let alone suggest that "nothing will work".

All I'm saying is that when you're new, it's so easy to get blown away by all the resources and 'shiny objects' (that seem to be getting shinier and brighter by the minute!) on offer here. So by using due diligence, there's less chance of disappointment and heartache.

I didn't mean for it to sound pessimistic, far from it

  • I remember when I just start IM, I made 15$ per month. So discouraged. Now, I am better. An $50 is much better than mine in the first month. Haha

Hey Scott, Keep your spirits up and always look on the brighter side of things. Your optimism will keep things alive and give you the motivation to continue. The opportunities with IM is vast so anytime is a perfect time to get started with it. Forget what other negative people say. What's important is that you took action and not just wait and watch other people's lives pass you by. All the best on your endeavors.

Welcome, Scott! The Warrior Forum really is the best internet marketing forum online. You have to keep visiting this forum everyday and learning.

Many times you will read something that won't help you today, but it may help you tomorrow, especially when you will read something else and relate it to what you read before.
