Is this considered site flipping? Looking to sell my digital marketing company and leads?

Hey everyone. I hope no one kills me, if I posted this question in the wrong spot. However, I wanted to know if anyone had any advice on what my best course of action would be. I started reading these forums a while ago, and immediately starting placing my new found knowledge into actions. Fast forward to now, I have a pretty successful digital marketing/PR agency in NYC and now I'm looking to completely get rid of it (too much stress, plus I want to follow my dreams and open up a daycare). I'm not sure where I should attempt to sell it because it's such a grey area (not simply just a website, but all the leads, current clients, contracts, automated software, etc). I did place it on ebay and Craigslist but I'm not sure if it belongs on places such as Flippa? Any advice? I really appreciate it!

If it is a real business I would talk to a business broker about it. Even if they won't handle listing your business, the reasons why may give you insights into things you can alter to get a higher price. They often list with unrealistic prices so take their suggested listing price with two grains of salt.

    Tamara91822,

If you don't provide info. will be difficult trying to help you.
Without disclosing the real name you can mention what the
site is about, traffic, links, affiliates, monthly income, etc.

Thanks Rhinocl, I will definitely look into talking with a broker!

The site is about the company (digital marketing), it also has a blog. There are about 390 unique views per month. Because the company itself was making money through automated social media marketing/management for the clients, I didn't monetize it through adsense or affiliate links. The monthly income after expenses averages out at 4,500 dollars a month. That includes outsourcing all of the work, a virtual office, web hosting, software, etc.
