Percentage of your sales from follow up emails!

I just did some calculations and it looks like I get 73% of my orders from my follow up emails. So we only close 27% from our website without any follow up.

Is this normal or should we be striving for more conversions off the bat? They say strike while the iron is hot!

How do most of your sales come in? Right away or through emails later?

    That sounds like a pretty good conversion rate but you can always test different squeeze pages, email copy and traffic sources and then stick to what is converting the best. The way I have my autoresponder series set up, I don't start selling to my subscribers right away. I first focus on building a solid relationship, and eventually recommending products to them. I also don't promote products like the "push button money softwares" or even training programs that I don't believe will actually help them. I only promote products that I currently use or have used myself.
