Alternatives to Aweber

Does anybody know free alternatives to Aweber?
I want to start building a little list but i'm aware of the fact that i won't get much opt ins and i can't afford to pay monthly for Aweber especially if i don't know if it will pay off at all!
I would really appreciate your help!
Thank you!

One more question, are there some rules about IM (I know this might sound like a stupid question) i just want to make sure i won't do anything illegal and get in trouble that way.

List Wire is a great free autoresponder service that is feature-rich and with good deliverability.

It is totally free but the only downside is that they will include a small ad in every email you send.

The only downside?! Its other former users seem to think there are many others, too: http://www.warriorforum.com/internet...ml#post8566507

    Hello Shapesnatch,

You can try GetResponse, which is free for 30 days. No credit card details required.

This was a very good question. There are many rules you have to respect online. You should read many posts in this forum. The Warrior forum is a gold mine, but you have to dig until you will find gold.

You have to learn how to respect the online users. For example, Aweber makes you ask for double opt-in. This is a courtesy.

You may dislike it, but your potential customers will like it. The logic behind asking them if they really agree with the idea of receiving messages from you (before you start sending them messages just because they accidentally opted-in, but they regretted having done so) is the fact that you respect your subscribers. You take into consideration the possibility of regret, and you want to verify if they really want to read your words.

You have to learn how to have the right behavior online, not only in order to avoid problems, but also because you must be trusted if you want to make sales. You have to do everything the right way and help everyone feel that you are a serious person and they can trust you.
