How Do I Get More Customers to my Service?

Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by. First of all, this may seem like a post to try and gain exposure to my Warrior For Hire, but this is obviously not a consistent way to get traffic to my thread.

What I am looking for is a consistent way to get more people interested in my service. I posted a very valuable service, and I want advice on why you think that I got no customers this first time I added the service to this forum.

What would you do different? What would you do to get more customers than you need, so you eventually have to rise prices because of such high demand.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Make your sales page stand out more. I did not really ready any of the text - I did look for reviews. Did not find any.

So I suggest you get some reviews - That is step #1

Step #2 - make your sales page stand out more.

Step 3 - promote your thread everywhere.

From my experience, you need steady traffic from 2-3 different sources in order to get consistent sales.

oh and one more thing. This is a MUST do. Make sure you get an opt in. Give out something for free, because you can get those people coming back for more with just one e-mail per week. ;-) which btw, becomes one traffic source.

    I hope this helps.

Basically, these are what you should do:

    1. Make a good sales copy or hire a professional to do that for you.

    2. Turn your sales copy into graphics. A good amount of eye catching graphic works far better than written copy.

    3. Give out review copies either for a cheap amount or free in exchange for honest review, you can even do this right before the thread goes live in the reviewers section of the forum.

    4. Keep bumping your ads and reasonably too and possibly try the banner ads for better exposure.

    5. Make a better sig for your offer.

    6. I strongly suggest you start working towards building your own site and getting traffic from the search engine, other IM forums and various paid ads.

      Good suggestions by others.

Targeting could also be more focused. People going to the Warrior's For Hire section may not be looking for, or at all interested in, Whiteboard videos.

Focusing on your best keywords and driving traffic (paid or otherwise) like a laser could help your exposure to the right people.

Good points were made, but I think Steve just might be right. People here may not be interested in whiteboard videos. I decided to post a thread in the warrior for hire section a few days ago myself (also whiteboard videos). Tried to make it pretty with graphics while at the same time trying not to over-hype it.

The result? In 72h I was able to get two people interested in a free review copy. Only one of them was able to submit the info I need so far...
With that being said, it seems that this forum is not the place to sell such videos.

That might be true, there may be no market for that here on this forum. I guess I'll have to find something else to do. I did get replies for it, but in the end no one has gotten the service.

I gotta be honest - those Whiteboard vids are ten to a dozen on Fiverr, so I would go there - in my mid it's cheaper - you need to differentiate yourself from fverr eople and show that yo offer more value at a lower price.
