What is the average email course attention rate of a subscriber

I am currently working on an email course focused on teaching people about making their first dollar online using basic advertising methods and then i want to merge them into list building.

My question is, what is the average as far as you've experienced is the attention and retention span of a customer following an email course?

in your campaigns do they usually drop after each email?
i have a feeling it do so because when i research legit video courses online each individual video gets less and less views. I am debating on whether i should reverse engineer this so i teach list building first and then advertising second.

I think it really depends on the way they cam into your funnel/list. Did you provide some really really good value and do you continue that through out the email messages?

The short answer is yes, they lose interest very quickly as most of the people you are referring to are subjected to the same shiny object chasing that we are all familiar with.

I think morally you should be starting to talk about list building as soon as you can and in fact that could be a way that you could pre plug your list building product or course. In the first part "Make your first dollar online" go through your material you already have and then make sure to make a slight comment about the importance of list building and how you are almost finished with another course on that exact subject, "So keep an eye out"......

Hope that helps and makes sense

      Yeah it does thank much..
Do you suggest an email course or a series of e-books? i have a feeling that i should be mixing in webinars for reinforcement. I have a feeling that if i use the shiny object syndrome to my advantage, by using hype to retain that newbie motivation, show them new products, get them excited, host a webinar, overview and review the product, offer an alternative and lead them back to my path. The way im percieving is being a coach without them knowing it.

If you think about the shiny object syndrome goes away once they realize and become overwhelmed with the actual work, so if i can say something in my webinar like "how about i do this, i will give you my case studies, give you my sequence of execution etc.." but you actually give a summarized version of all the overwhelming work, they will become overwhelmed in your control and you beign the first person to get them interested in the market will go back to you. Its like reiterating to a child, literally holding their hand. Its like psychological self branding.

Has anyone ever tried this yet?

    Destroyer,

I'm curious about your thinking that you should teach a make money (first dollar) course by starting with either list building or advertising.

To my way of thinking, there are a lot of other things that come before either of these in real money making online. It seems that you're going to be giving your followers only two isolated pieces of the puzzle when, in actuality, there are a lot of other "getting started" considerations for a newbie.

only if you want to cause information overload.

      PS
its called summarizing. I dont need to explain my strategy. Just answer the question, pay attention to detail and learn to stop assuming things.
