Link Cloaking

I am using the "affiliate link cloaking" plugin on wordpress.

Some of my links cloak and others do not.

I can have a specific link on one page that cloaks, and put that same exact link with a different SID on another page, and it will not cloak?

Another example is the link I have for my side banner will not cloak...

Has anyone else had this issue?

    I never understood why it is necessary. none of my websites rankings have ever been harmed by adding a noffolow link to an affiliate.

      I am talking about masking a link I guess ....

      for example, affiliate link is http://xyzthefish.com/user=?34532423

      I want it to show as http://mysite/go/the-fish

        If you already use Wordpress SEO (Yoast) and want to keep your plugins to a minimum, you can very easily add a page and make it 301 redirect. That's how I've been doing it. Check out the Wordpress SEO 'advanced' tab when adding/editing a page.

    i think im using affiliate cloaking wizard, it can be a good way to make a short and interest link for your affiliate links or hide them

    I appreciate your need for speed, but why not do it yourself with a folder and a 301 redirect on your server? much more reliable, and simple to swap links.

    Try using pretty link lite .Its a plug in for WP and their is tracking right in your WP admin ...

    I use a PHP script for cloaking links (self hosted) it works very well and allows me to cloak in different ways such as simple re-direct, mask and stealth. You should be able to find similar scripts with a simple search.
