Thinking of turning my site into a membership site. Any suggestions on how to monetize my content this way?

Also Any suggestions on software / database mgmt. Member mouse, etc...

I have a wordpress blog with a cherry framework theme, an aweber account, and optimizepress.

There is a plug that sets permissions on who can view what I forgot what it is called. You should always still have some free content but what I would do is make a members area and post the good stuff there in my case it was training videos ebooks that kind of stuff.

Well the obvious is to charge people to access the membership site and content.

Or perhaps give away a free membership with limited content and then once they have seen that, upsell them into the paid content.

Focus on quality. Offer good value and content.

Always ask yourself, would you be a paid member of your own site

The easiest way is to set it up via your autoresponder.
I've used memership scripts also, but it's less hassle to run it through the autoresponder.
Send a lesson a day or however you want to schedule it.
Put the membership through Clickbank as a recurring billing product.
    Works nicely.
