Is there a Way To Collect Physical Addresses And Transfer to Spreadsheet Automatically?

Hi everyone.

I need a way to collect physical addresses of customers and would like to have them automatically transferred to a spreadsheet program, such as excel. I'm creating a monthly continuity program (printed newsletter) and need to be able to send addresses to the printer.

I've thought about using a membership website (mine or hosted) but it seems rather complicated for my needs right now.

Is there any software available for this or do I need to have something created specifically for me?

Thanks!

Where do you need to collect them from? If it's an online form you can use a Google form and have it automatically populate a Google Spreadsheet

Yeah - this method is probably easier than the one I mentioned, but my method will work too.

Awesome! I will try this! Yes, collecting from an online form.

      Thanks!

This is an update to my last post. I checked online for a way to integrate Aweber and Google docs. There are some companies online that will do this, but as you might imagine there are (for most of them) monthly fees attached. The ones that don't charge a monthly fee have left me scratching my head as I don't understand their fee structure or exactly what they're going to charge me if I use their service.

I've been trying to solve this issue all week and at this point I'm thinking I may just need to have a website created that will take care of all this for me. I don't see the need to pay a membership fee to connect Aweber (which I'm already paying for) and Google docs which is free.

Create a form on your site to collect the addresses and store the data submitted to a MySQL database. phpMyAdmin (used to administer MySQL) has an export to Excel function. It can also export to other file types, but this is what you seem to be looking for.
