My first abuse!

Just moments ago an email arrived from the contact form from my review site from someone referring to himself as an anonymous jerk. Here's his message to me.
A bunch of almost empty websites, each and every one of them saying how good your "Xbox RROD repair guide" is amazing.... I'm guessing you set those sites up just to try to make your guide more convincing. There's a sucker born every minute...Hope you are happy making money with something that is available freely on the web. Cheap *******.
It appears he has mistaken me for the guy who is selling the guide, who incidently, I would think is happy making money from his work. Although I'm not sure how that makes him a cheap *******.

The valid point is that my site is still relatively empty. I'm working on that. If only he'd have popped in a bit down the track, he might have been a little less quick to judge. :rolleyes:

Anyway, my first piece of abuse. Should I save it? Maybe I should print it out and hang it on my wall!

    haha I think abuse emails are one of the most interesting parts of doing business online. Sure when you begin it can be quite upsetting, but soon you'll realise not every human was created "correctly" and there are some idiots out there lol.

    Sure it's tempting to write back and abuse him but its better to just ignore it, laugh and wait for the next abuse email to come into your inbox!

      He used a dummy email in the contact form so I can't reply.

      I wouldn't write back and abuse anyway. It's never worth it, either for your peace of mind or your reputation. When you fling poop, some of it tends to bounce back and stick to you.

        Wow! The abuse you get is much milder than some of the stuff I've gotten. Unfortunately, I don't get much -- it does give me such a good laugh.

            You'll always remember your first time.

            I almost flipped the first time I ran an offer to my new list. You would hav thought I had come over to their hounses personally and called their mothers names, the verbal smacking I got. So now sometimes, (just for fun) I include a special email link on some of my pages just so people can send me hate mail.

            But I don't read them anymore.
