Is optimizeyourcart.com by cullen powell the only option out there for 1click upsell script with 1shoppingcart?

Anyone know anyone else that offers this service?

I ordered cullen's but requested a refund because the "templates" were not as elaborate as I expected.

I may re-order from him if it's the only option out there.

I guess I could hire a programmer to do this too?

The template provided was actually tested and optimized along with several other templates on over 50,000 transactions. This template came out way ahead of the others and converts extremely well.

There's a video on that page that gives you more details. I haven't personally used either product so I can't give you a recommendation. Just wanted to make you aware of another option.

Cullen's script is very good... just look out if you're promoting
with affiliates, that gets pretty sticky.

I understand that 1SC is working on 1-click upsells, but it
could be quite a while...

You can get "the original" 1ShoppingCart upsell script from me for a one time payment of $97 or you can pay $29 every month to those d-bags at upsellmastery.com who completely jacked my concept, portions of my sales letter and worst of all parts of my actual code - and it's not the first time they've done it either.

Like Brian said it isn't the most seamless solution if you're promoting with affiliates and have a high order volume but still very much doable.

1ShoppingCart is supposedly working on something, but there's no telling when it will be available. If and when they do get fully automated 1 click "risk-free" upsells implemented they will have a seriously awesome system.

by the time they get this feature done we'll be 20 years older.... heck their affiliate links and tracking links dont even work with safari. wtf

I use them for one of my businesses, they started off good, but they've turned into "1 ****ty cart" with all the bugs, issues, lack of features and crappy email deliverability.

Hey Dave you are correct there is no way to do [automated] 1 click upsells with 1ShoppingCart.

Granted 1ShoppingCart has never been quick on updates and has it's fair share of bugs, but what shopping cart doesn't?

You've got to give them some credit - overall they do have a really great system.

I not sure about deliverability of 1SC but they seems to do ok job for payment processing and product tracking.
I disagree of their philosophy re: API - they making is available for developers only at most expensive level thus prohibiting creation of solution that utilize their platform.

Cullen, have you try to use IonCube for source code protection?
I am considering it for my plugins and already using it on one.

ultracart is ok, we use it for another business. but they have a LOT of bugs in their system and it doesn't do MANY things marketers need.

gleb, its not that difficult to process payments, you can get someone to code a gateway for you in no time.... 1 sc is ok, ive used them for years... but it has a LOT of limitations that make things very difficult for marketers.

You hit the nail on the head Dave. 1ShoppingCart is very well rounded but I couldn't agree more that there are too many limitations that make things difficult for serious marketers.

Like Gleb alleviated to, they need a solid API thats available to everyone so we can really "harness the power" and create a lot of opportunity for ourselves.

I'm currently in the process of moving all of my email & autoresponders to mailchimp.com for the simple fact that they have a great API that you can use to do virtually anything you can think of in regards to email marketing and their deliverability is great too.

I was in a PAY PAL shoppingcart!!!!

Nothing against paypal. I love Pay Pal.

What needs to be done is to create a 1 click upsell application that utilizes PayPal. Also, to have a plugin that completely integrates with Wordpress as well as HTML based sites.

Look, the PayPal has an existing platform, and a developer network. How hard can it be?
In reality, you have an existing system that should be plug & play. Also, it should be simple to develop given that all you really need to do is have a Yes/No method & a script that will HOLD OR ADD on to an existng purchase. The ability for the script to do that 5 times in a row, should not be that hard.

No...don't know them. Someone I know very well has broken the paypal code and we have a system that allows true one click upsells using paypal..

I would assume then this is done with PayPal merchant accounts though correct?

I see some exciting possibilities with the new PayPal API they are developing.

As for who uses it...

I'm very happy with the way ultracart integrates 1click upsells into it's system. I use it and it has worked very well for me.

I have taken selling an item for only shipping/handling ($7.95) and upsold to a $200 sale with their 1click upsells.

It's a very feature rich cart. So much so that I offered to make videos for them. Some of them they now use in the help section.

I purchased your product optimizeyourcart 4 days ago and as soon as I opened it I read that I had to do something which made the product useless in my particular business. I have emailed you about this several times and asked for a refund. I have received no reply. I am not one to ask for a refund if the product is useable but unfortunately in my particular business it is not a viable solution. (I have emailed you the deteils why it is not viable in my business and I am not going to mention it here unless I have to). I have also requested a refund via paypal again with no response. I wanted to bump this since it shows up in Google for "1shoppingcart upsell". 1SC introduced their Upsell Express today, which lets you do this inline. (FINALLY!) I am testing for a new product that I will be introducing soon. Has anyone else used Upsell Express yet?
