this video is not available because is not approved for monetization

Has anyone else noticed the message "this video is not available because is not approved for monetization" on their videos. I noticed this message on several of my YouTube videos in the last few days. I got several videos that were on page one of the search engines and getting me lots of traffic and signups, but not anymore. I am not sure why I am getting this message.

You might want to check out any YouTube videos you may have and see if you are also getting this message. There is no explanations and I can't see where you can find out why the video was disapproved. On a couple of the video I have with this message I didn't set them up for monetization. So I am not sure why they were disapproved when I never requested approval.

Yeah lots of people got that on their videos. I had the same issue as well.. it was solved after a few hours or so - though I still have two videos that have been in a 'monitoring for further review' state for months now.

I think YT is tightening things up on their side.

You could not pay me enough to write code for Youtube. I bet alcohol on the job is not just mandatory, it's provided. That is way too much data being consumed and generated by way too many people. If there's anyone who is stuck having to please all the people all the time, it's those Youtube coders.
Would the same thing apply for people who create "how to" type eBooks/websites?
