What kind of tools do you need? To be honest I don't use any specific Mac tools for my work... if that's what you are asking

You should get Screenflow for videos, Keynote for presentations, and that's 90% of my business that is specifically Mac related.

I also love Pages for my ebooks that I create. It's fantastic.

I use Adobe software for Graphics, Video Editing, Color Grading, Audio Mixing, Animation, Web Design/Coding and creating eBooks. Lol, pretty much everything except Vector Art or Flash. Apple Motion for easy Animations and OpenOffice for presentations and other documents.

I guess the OP is referring more to SEO tools like backlink spammers. Indeed most small utilities are for Windows only. To run Windows software on my Mac I use Parallels Desktop.

I'm a Mac user and am able to use Windows tools through virtualization software called Parallels. There's a free option too called VirtualBox.

Native tools I use are Market Samurai & SEO Powersuite.
If you're looking for something more specific, I'd suggest you become familiar with the Terminal and take a look on GitHub. TONs of Scrapers, Crawlers and everything in between.

    Good Luck!

    For SEO tools:
    - SEOQuake SEOquake - seo toolbar, plugin, seo extension for Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera - I personally haven't got it to work with Safari, but just install it for Firefox/Chrome.
    - Serpbook - Paid solution but main advantage is that it checks Top 300 results, not just Top 100 like PowerSuite and most others. Plus it's web based.

I personally prefer web based stuff. I dislike having to install applications, check their compatabiliy, use up storage and then save files locally.

    iWork
    - I really like Pages, Numbers and Keynote. Initially I bought Microsoft Office for Mac back in the day, but it's always very laggy and a bad experience. Once I had used the each of the iWork apps for > 2 minutes, I was pretty much hooked. I don't use Word, Excel or Powerpoint except as a last resort.

And lastly, cannot go a day without this Apple - Downloads - Dashboard Widgets - Go Go Redball!
