Hey guys,

I need help creating a PayPal but now button. How do I get the button image and use it on these forums? The only code I get is the HTML code, and the email URL. Does that email URL work as an image? Another question - after the purchase: how do I get the client to be directed to a certain page?

Thanks!

P.S. I'm new to this.

You can take a screen shot of the button with software like Jing and then you can upload the picture file where ever yo want and add a link to it going to your buy site...

That is what I do all the time... a button is just a picture file anyway.

    You can Go this way

    1. Get the EMAIL payment link instead of HTML.

    2. Go to the page you want to insert the Image link into.

    3. On the WSO forum put the code for the buy now button like below

[CENTER9][URL="Your paypal payment link here"][IMG9]your image link here[/IMG9][/URL9][/CENTER9]

    (remove all 9'ns)

taking buyers to specific can be customized trough button customization on payment.

you just have to insert the URL of success page and cancel page.

    1. click on Customise advanced features while making a button.

    2. insert links as shown in the screenshot.

    Hope this helped.

    good luck

PS: I accidentally written cancel page url at the success tab and succes page URL in the cancel url tab. don't get confused use the headings.

All PayPal accounts allow you to send and receive payments.
    • Personal: Recommended for individuals who shop and pay online, or wish to send or receive personal payments for shared expenses such as splitting of dinner bills or rental charges.
    • Premier: Recommended for casual sellers or non-businesses who wish to get paid online, and who also make online purchases.
    • Business: Recommended for merchants who operate under a company/group name. It offers additional features such as allowing up to 200 employees limited access to your account and customer service email alias for customer issues to be routed for faster follow-ups.

The personal account is NOT meant for anything other than personal income and expenses. The fact the OP mentioned the word 'client' in his post means he should not be using a personal account. He should be using either a premiere account or a business account. Nothing less.
