Is this market worth pursuing?

Hey, I want to set up my first ecommerce store using dropship, and have found a niche market which seems alright.
The competition all seem to have poor websites and products.
The average monthly searches of the 5 chosen keywords are about 5000 per month.
And the competition of these keywords is all high, and the ppc is on average 0.3 $

Im planning on using adwords, but the keyword planner says that I would only get 11 daily clicks using ppc.

I know there are a lot of variables around around setting up a ecommerce store, but what do you guys think so far about this? Is the daily clicks too low?

Thanks, but it would be nice to have some feedback on the daily clicks (which worries me :O )

Dont believe the keyword planner..also think outside the box, consider some other keywords as well, track conversions.

I have some concerns. What kind of market research did you do other than what you've mentioned here so far?

Secondly, 5 keywords never make up a niche under any market. When I research a niche and it passes my initial market research (checking the competition, the distribution channels, etc.) I will research dozens and dozens of keywords.

PPC is not the only type of paid advertising around. You may want to look into media buys because even small players can get in and buy.

I found the keywords I planned on using, looked at their search volume and if their ppc was withing my budget (all withing google keyword planner). Then I googled them and looked at the other ecommerce shops that popped up (both organic results and ads), and looked at the quality of their site and quality of their products, descriptions and selection.
Forgive me if this seems noobish What's your verdict? any steps I'm missing?

OK, you got me. What is a media buy in this context?

You can't count on this being accurate or even close. The only way to know for sure is to test. Adword's "planning" tools are fairly deceptive.

A niche market with only 5 keywords and only 5,000 searches total per month and suggested CPC of only $0.30 does not seem like something worth entering.

Thirty cents CPC is not very much.

Now, if this would be a sub niche where you know that the larger niche has some decent volume: different story.

It actually is a sub niche of a quite major hobby. Care to explain why this is important?

What would be your ideal monthly search volume? how many keywords would you use? Also isn't a cpc of $0.30 good when i plan on using ppc advertising?

I know it's a lot of questions, but I'm still new in this field...
