Autoresponder emails to have same day interval?

Can you set autoreponder to have 2 messages go out on same interval?

I want to send out 2 emails to my customers right after they made a purchase, one with their download/receipt information and the other a personal thank you message.

I tried doing that in GetResponse, but it says I can't do that...

Not sure about AWeber...

Can you send out to different emails in the same campaign simultaneously right after each other in Aweber?

Interesting question -- I'm testing this in one of my AWeber lists now. The first message came through about 20 minutes ago; I'm still waiting to see if/when the second one does.

I didn't get any error messages when I loaded the second message to be sent the same day as the previous one.

      Really?

Well, in GetResponse, when I set my second message to be "0 time interval" like the first message, here was the message i got:

"CAUTION: You must not set the same time interval for any two messages, because this will overwrite one of your messages."

Not sure if in AWeber you get something smiliar....

You know, all autoresponders should upgrade the interval from day to minute.

That will give an exact estimate of when the message will arrive and you get to out as many messages as you want on the same day.

This answer might steer a bit off-topic, but I'll suggest it anyhow.

    1. Set up a parser in AW to autofwd the sales receipt to a "customer" VIP list you created. Do this via a BCC, or other means, as defined in the AW parser.

    eg: newcustomers@aweber.com

-- Customer gets standard, email receipt you are sending now (via your payment cart, or however you do that.) with download instructions, etc.

-- AW gets triggered immediately and sends an opt-in email since the customer is now added to your VIP list. Craft your subject line to be catchy.... Subject: "Your recent order is waiting John, please confirm..."

-- Create an action in AW... "unsubscribe from {list} upon subscribe to {list}...
This "moves" the customer off a prospect list and ensures you don't keep soliciting them as a prospect.

    2. Write your optin-message to say something like... "As an unannounced bonus, click the link to verify and I'll send you a bonus gift worth X, instantly after you click the link."

-- Make sure you add some real value here.
-- Tip: Direct them to a thank you page after clicking; record your voice and put up your photo and voice recording to personally say thank you. (Filsaime does this well.)

You've now delivered (1) two emails within minutes (2) moved the customer onto a VIP list with their permission (3) removed them from your prospect list... (4) automated everything, and (5) provided them a good, quick online experience especially if you add your voice or other personable experience.... all without lifting a finger.
