Getting more from RSS?

I am trying to create a few automated blogs using RSS. I found some great RSS feeds, but unfortunately the RSS text was very short, only 100 or so characters. Is there a way to draw the whole article, from the RSS feed?

Hope that made sense! Thank You.

Many RSS feeds only include summaries (what you're seeing). If you want full articles, you have to find RSS feeds which include them. A forum search on "RSS full feeds" (without the quotes) would probably get you lots of information as this has been discussed multiple times before.

The reason is people set their RSS to only give summary. Why? Scrapers like yourself. Many don't attribute the article to the source and then there is the argument of fair use, but the fact is these are copyrighted works and the owner has control. So hopefully you'll only pull the 100 characters or so and then give a link back to the full article.

Scrapers are another reason to put your feed through Feedburner so you can see the "unusual uses" of your feed. Then you can send the DMCA notices to the ISP sooner.
