Can I make & sell a Wordpress Blog ?

Instead of wondering, set up a website and find out how long and how much work it takes. The only real way to know is by doing it, because everyone will have their own results.

The big thing to remember is that you don't just have to maintain a website, you have to advertise that website as well. Without people hearing about your website, you won't get anywhere.

You want to spend 6 months working on a blog just to sell it for $1,000?

Seems a heck of a lot easier to just build websites for people and make that money within a few weeks.

Def have to work on a new site you make in order to make any money with it flipping. Of course you might find a rare buyers who doesn't know any better

I would have to say no one is going to pay $1,000 for a site that is a simple wordpress blog that makes $80 a month but the first step is getting that $80 a month and if i was you i would just keep the $80 a month and do it all over again

A= Yes it certainly is Possible to sell a Wordpress blog hosted on your own domain. These certainly are not less interesting to bidders, I think it really depends on the content and what you are offering, it's not necessarily about the platform.

Q= And what's the exact difference between selling a website & a wordpress blog cause somewhere I read that websites are always way more profitable ?

A= My friend a blog and a website are one of the same thing (it's a platform), the difference between the two is really functionality, A blog can be more dynamic for the beginner, but certainly some of the best websites out there are blogs. Check the definition of a website on Wikipedia and do a little more research maybe. But simply a website is a set of webpages on a web domain. (a place to host your content and services)

Q= Also, not being a great expert in any niche, can I write content on my own escaping copyscape? ( By taking in content from web or ezine & taking points but writing in my own words )..

A= I would recommend you certainly make all your content unique! You certainly can get ideas from lots of different sources, but certainly make it your own, there are many effective ways to bring customers to your websites other than articles, maybe do some research on traffic sources. Search on google for how to bring customers to your website.

Q= I guess I need to make about $80 a month from my wordpress blog to be able to sell for around $1000.. - My ultimate goal!

A= Making a profitable, authoritative blog or website can take a lot of time. Flipping domains as they call it, certainly can be a lucrative business, but for such a low return, I would have to agree with some of the other members, you would be better off looking elsewhere for quicker profits (like affiliate marketing maybe)

Q= How long do I need to do with my blog since I am interested in flipping as fast as possible..? How many informative articles do I need to be put up about the niche ?

A= This will vary depending on a lot of factors to how long it will take And these questions really do suggest how new you are to this game. I would advise finding someone firstly who is an expert in this field, and allowing them to help and guide you, if you are passionate about this line of work. But again just ,y opinion I would recommend doing some more research if your just looking to make some money quickly.

Q= Is it possible with around 30 odd articles & 6 months of time ? Let me know..

A= If you are trying to dominate or rank your content under certain keywords in the Search Engines, again it can take a lot of time or very little depending on a range of factors, there are lots of very effective ways to generate traffic to your sites and 30 articles, unless you spin them a billion times using white hat tactics probably won't have you taking over the world wide web

My Honest advice would be to firstly see what is required of you to make a good website or blog that sells, So maybe even speak to the support team at flippa or places similar to this, and I am sure they will help. Then you can start to create what it is you feel necessary for that chosen demand.

When flipping sites People want Authority, High PR Sites (Page Rank), Website that receive a lot of monthly traffic (customers) and certainly if people are going to buy your websites from you, then they want to know how much money they can make from it.
