finally making it happen but need advice

After 2 years of tinkering with IM I am finally making it happen. About 2 months ago I got serious, picked one niche (content creation/writing) and started to put things in motion to start making some money. The exciting part is I am now making money. The challenging part is I can see I need to work on improving my per hour or per project revenue. I finally got to the point about 2 weeks ago where I had most of the set up done and could start writing/accepting projects.

Here is what I have done so far:

1-Set up, designed and completed my own website offering my services.

2-Placed ads on fiverr.com, mycheapjobs.com, gigbucks.com and peopleperhour.com

3-Joined iwriter.com, hirewriters.com and textbrokers.com

The results so far:

3 sales on Fiverr

2 sales on mycheapjobs.com

30 articles written through iwriter and hirewriters combined.

Writing for the writing services really brings down the per hour revenue but I feel it is good experience and helps make a few bucks when just starting out. I really need some advice from others on if I am on the right track and what I should be doing to get sales through my website and to increase my per hour/per project revenue.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Write some guest posts with a link pointing back to your website. I try to write at least one every week. Great way to attract more clients.

Don't forget to create a thread in this section of the forum Warriors For Hire.

    Good luck.

Well done! It's great that you've found your little niche, it's so easy to get taken in by loads of different niches and to try and do to many things at once!

For sure. I spent a significant amount of time hopping from idea to idea.
