If I send out emails to ask if other companies want to put my link on their resources page, do I need to have some sort of Can-Spam compliance additions?

Thanks,

Dave

Might want to read through this brief checklist: http://www.returnpath.com/wp-content...rence-9_12.pdf

Also as a quick thought, why would any company just want to add your link to their resource page? Will you be reciprocating? I'd say that's important information.

    Cheers,

    Dave,

As with any question that touches upon legal compliance, doesn't it make sense to get professional legal help rather than asking a group of random marketers to give a personal opinion?

Here is the Act in .pdf format so you can refer right to the source.

Here is a short article entitled "Can-Spam Act of 2003: Core Requirements" published by the Cornell University Law School that will help to decipher the Act itself.

Even though these resources may be helpful, my advice stands: seek competent professional assistance in all legal matters.
